Jeremiah and Lori are both passionate about Jesus, and about helping others to find meaning and hope in Him.
Our professional ministry life began with the national ministry of Cru. We both got involved as students when were were in college, Lori at UCI and Jeremiah and Cal Poly SLO. Jeremiah then joined staff with Cru, and was on staff from 2002 to 2024 in the Campus Ministry and with Athletes in Action, also serving with the Theological Development during several summers to help other staff grow theologically. Lori served on staff with Cru from 2005 to 2024 in the Campus Ministry and on the Cru Legal Team. We loved serving with Cru, reaching out to college students with the good news of Jesus Christ and serving staff around the country with legal needs and theological development.
With Cru’s Campus Ministry, we served in numerous locations, and learned a lot about how diverse and beautiful the expression of Christianity is in different parts of the country and the world, even as we are all united in our hope in the gospel and in Jesus as our Savior. We served in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Santa Barbara, CA, in Flagstaff, AZ, and in Davis, CA. We also had the opportunity to go on missions trips around the world, and learn from and serve with people from many cultures and nations. We have learned so much, and continue to do so.
Jeremiah completed his Masters of Divinity at Western Seminary, graduating in 2018. He loves God’s Word and teaching it to others. He is passionate about spreading the good news of Jesus and helping people experience the incredible peace and hope that comes from a life of knowing and walking with God–there is truly nothing better. He has applied this passion in every ministry he has been part of, from leading college students, to equipping athletes, to pastoring now in Davis, CA.
Authentic and meaningful faith communities grow when we walk with one another in the midst of our brokenness and our need for God, met through the person of Jesus. We want everyone to feel seen and acknowledged as human beings who are made in the image of God. Everyone has a story and a journey. Our hope is that more and more people will have the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ from a friend, so that they too can realize and internalize that deep and lasting joy and hope are found in Christ alone.
